Internal Lights Not Working

Hi,

 

I started to change some of my internal festoon bulbs to LEDs, all seemed to be going fine and then suddenly none of the internal lights would work.

I tested the fuses that the handbook said were for the internal lights but they were fine, I removed the LED lights but still no internal lights.

any advice would be appreciated.

there is a timer realy on some of the galaxys this means it stays on for a few seconds often when messing around with lights this can fail best see if you have a feed to one side of the light and door switch

Hi Leo thanks for the reply, do you know where the relay is as I do not have any voltage to the lights at all.

Does anyone know where I could get a wiring diagram for a 2001 2.3 Galaxy

Looks like the relay is part of the multi function unit controlled by two fuses 53 & 55

Lights are working again, I managed to download a ford technical manual and using the wiring diagram found out that a wire which came from the fuse box was faulty. (open circuit)
